A colleague of Dario Knez (BTh, MSc IT, MBA, DBA candidate) playfully introduced him as: Alternative – Academic – Artistic – Administrator – not knowing how close this description is to Dario’s desired positioning between the world of theory and practice. 

Dario’s broad IT knowledge and love for yoga fructified in 2010 with the Online Bhaktivedanta College Campus (BCOC – https://bcoc.bhaktivedantacollege.com/). Leading the team, Dario organized the entire department, including its technical development and marketing, and he also teaches some of the online courses. Besides this, he has trained a number of faculty members who have joined the BCOC team. To date (October 2020), BCOC has a prosperous history with some 300 courses delivered, and more than 4,700 students participating in the online campus. 

Based on BCOC’s success, Dario has further gathered and headed up an international team of experts to develop the Alfred Ford School of Management (AFSM – https://aford.be/). This initiative was launched in May 2017 with its first intake of MBA students. Dario was instrumental in developing curricula, organizing faculty members and setting up strategic planning. At AFSM, Dario is presently serving as Dean of Students and teaching the Strategic Management module.
